PS: Issan sausage (from the soi) is best eaten with iceberg lettuce and hot green peppers.
Both Thailand and the US have upcoming elections for their leaders. OK, here in Thailand the voters go to the polls in about a week while the US is more than 17 months away from the big day. But, look at a couple of the choices who are not likely to win. In Thailand we have Chuwit (AS* Chuvit), a man who owned a chain of massage parlours, while the US has an airhead bible thumper who never learned anything about American history. Who would prefer to see as an also-ran?

While we dine Thai style the candidates plaster themselves.
While Thais worried about who will be their new leader I took satisfaction in knowing that today I am TIVOing two of my favorite movies: "Fargo" and "The Usual Suspects". Notice that I also have "Castle" and "Mad Men" on my to-see list.
Probably Thais and people who have lived in Thailand will 'get' this political cartoon.
PS: Who would have known.
The Pope in an attempt to capture 'tween' adulation sends his first Tweet on his iPad. Fellow octogenarian geeks help him touch the screen. His first tweet is designed to rock geeks back to Christ.
Can you guess where this is and what it specializes in (OK, "in what it specializes")?
